It's Monday which means a new video. But, it's not just a new video, it's a whole new series. I'm calling it Peyote Bead School because I will be teaching you all you ever wanted to know about Peyote Stitch.

For week one I will be going over Even Count Peyote Stitch. In the video I'll be showing how to read a bead and word chart, how to know you're doing even count peyote and how to start peyote stitch. As a bonus there will be two videos for week one. On Wednesday I'll be posting a video about ways you can finish different even count peyote bracelets.

Each week I'll be using mostly size 11 delica seed beads. If you are a newer beader then I sugget that you first practice with size 8 delica beads. They are larger and will allow you to get the hang of the stitch before dropping down to the smaller size. I'll also try my best to have bead packs available to purchase that will have all the beads needed for the bracelets. Here are some links that might be helpful for week one:
