This week, I will be releasing two videos for the Carolina Fall Leaf Pendant. This pendant is part of the Shapes of Summer series, where I demonstrate how to make the 3D Oval. The first part of the series was released on Monday, September 15th. In this video, I show how to create the 3D Pointed Oval and explain the three sizes needed to make the Pendant. On Thursday, September 18th, Part 2 will be released. In this video, I demonstrate how to encase the rivoli, connect the pointed ovals, and make a bail. I will also explain the two necklaces I made to go with the project.

I created two different colorways to go with the project:

Here is a list of questions with answers I have received over the last two days about the project:

1. What Necklaces did you make to go with the piece? This information will be discussed in Part 2 of the video, but for those who cannot wait, one necklace is a St. Petersburg Chain, and the other is a Herringbone.
2. Are there enough materials in the kit to make a necklace? The kit is made for the pendant, not a complete necklace. If you want to make a herringbone necklace, there will not be enough materials left over in the kit. If you'd like to make the St Petersburg Necklace, there will be enough materials left over for a necklace. You will still need an additional 11/0 seed bead to go with the mix to finish out the necklace.
3. Does the pattern come included in the kit? Yes, a digital version of the pattern is included. When you receive the kit, it will contain a paper inside with a coupon code on it so you can download the pattern for free.
4. If I purchase the kit and have already purchased the pattern, will you sell me the kit at a discounted rate? No, kits are complete and sealed with the pattern coupon code inside. The list of materials and what's included in the kit is clearly outlined in the item description of the kit listing.
5. Will you have the mixes in the kit for sale? Yes, we should have some to sell by Friday (9/19) or Monday (9/22). Once we have them ready, we will list them.
6. Will you tell us the colors you used in the mixes? No, I'm sorry, but I work hard to create custom mixes that are sold in my store and can't be found elsewhere. I spend a lot of time and effort choosing colors that complement each other in the mixes, and I've already provided so much information for this project for free. There are over 1250 Delica colors in production, giving everyone the chance to select their own unique color palette for the project. 
7. Can you tell me if I should make the pendant smaller and how to do so? Unfortunately, I don't have a smaller version of this pendant. If you'd like to try creating one, I go over all the necessary skills in the pattern and video, so you can use that to make your own smaller piece.
