On Monday, we will continue our Memorial Bead Along for Carol Cypher. Carol was the author of the amazing book Mastering Beadwork.

We were supposed to make the backless brick stitch bezel this week, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted. There are many variables to consider when making the bezel, and since beading is meant to be fun, not stressful, I set that project aside.

The next project we will be working on is the Crayola Beaded Bracelet. This is such a fun bracelet that uses 6/0, 8/0, and 11/0 seed beads. It's a stash-busting project because you can use up some of your extra seed beads to make this bracelet.  The bracelet doesn't take long to make and can be made using either a one-needle or a two-needle technique. I will be teaching it as a one-needle technique.
