If you’ve been browsing the shop lately and noticed that some of your favorite items are out of stock, I wanted to take a moment to explain what’s going on—and be completely transparent with you.
First off, thank you. The support and orders mean the world. Truly. The customers who choose to support me are the best, and many are very patient as the world changes day by day.
Supply Chains Are Slower Than They Used to Be
Getting products in isn’t as simple as it once was.
Suppliers are taking longer to ship, materials are delayed, and restocks don’t always arrive when expected. Sometimes what used to take a week now takes several weeks—or even longer. That means when something sells out, it can take a bit before I’m able to get it back on the shelves.
Prices Are Changing… A Lot
One of the biggest reasons I can’t offer backorders right now is that pricing isn’t stable.
By the time I’m able to reorder an item:

The cost from the supplier may have increased

Shipping costs may have gone up
-
Availability may have changed altogether
I never want to promise you a product at one price and then have to come back later with a different number. That’s not fair to you. So instead, I wait until I have the product in hand and priced correctly before relisting it.
It’s a Small (But Mighty!) Team
Currently, behind the scenes, it’s just me—Sammy—and two amazing volunteers helping keep things running.
That means:

Answering emails
- Building Kits

Managing inventory

Restocking products
…all happens with a very small crew.
We give it everything we’ve got every single day, but there are only so many hours in the day—and only so many hands to help.
