*Button with a shank on the back/bottom
*24-26 Inches 1.5mm Leather
*Size 10 or 12 Beading Needle
*4-5 yds 4lb Fire Line
*Small amount of Tape or Painters Tape
Hubble Stitch was created by Melanie de Miguel. It is a wonderful and fun stitch to do. I did an intro to Hubble Stitch video in June of 2020 and people loved it so much I decided to try my hand at coming up with my own Hubble Stitch project. For this project, you will need to use one brand of seed bead meaning use either Miyuki or Toho Seed Beads. DO NOT mix the two brands or your piece will not turn
out correctly. Also, delica beads don’t work great for Hubble Stitch.
This is a great project for any beader with stitching experience.
