Product Description
This is a 6 page full color step by step pattern on how to make the Highways & Byways bracelet.
Materials Needed:
*10-12 Grams 6/0 Toho Seed Beads (SB)
*4 Grams 6/0 Toho Demi Round Seed Beads (DR)
*3 Grams 11/0 Toho Seed Beads
*1/2” Distressed Slide with Loop (Tierra Cast) or a 21.5mm Slide Bar Clasp
*2 Jump Rings
*Clasp of your choice
*Size 10 Beading Needle *3-4yds Thread
For this project you will notice that the materials list calls for Toho beads specifically. For best results of this piece, make sure to use all Toho brand beads. If you try to mix the brands the bracelet will not come out as even.
You will notice that I didn’t specify a certain type of thread to use. This is because you can use any type of beading thread. Here are a few examples of what can be used: 6lb
Fire Line, One G thread, KO Thread, Dura Thread, etc. I have found though that 6lb Fire Line works best.
This bracelet is worked in Odd Count Peyote Stitch. You can use the figure 8 method to do the turnaround, but I will be using a different method which will be described in the pattern
This is a great project for any beader with stitching experience. It can also be a very good beginner friendly pattern if you use the alternate clasp suggestion. This bracelet works up very quickly because of the size of the beads.
