Desert Rain Fringe Earrings

Desert Rain Fringe Earrings

Posted by Kelly Dale on Oct 3rd 2026

There’s something so satisfying about beaded fringe—the movement, the colors, and watching each strand bring a design to life. My new Desert Rain Earrings combine a geometric beaded top, a sparkling bicone accent, and flowing fringe for a pair that’s full of personality!

I’m excited to share this project with you on YouTube on Monday, October 5th. Grab your beads and join me as we stitch together!

Which Colorway Will You Choose?

I’ve put together three bead-pack options, each giving the Desert Rain Earrings a different look.

Blue Desert Rain — $18.95
Beautiful blue tones meet gold accents and 4mm Magic Gold bicones. This combination is a lovely choice for anyone who enjoys a little shimmer with their blues.

Rose Desert Rain — $16.95
Rich rose, warm orange, and gold come together with 4mm Topaz AB bicones. These colors remind me of a glowing desert sunset and are beautiful for fall—or any time you want a warm pop of color!

Christmas Desert Rain — $16.95
Festive green, red, and gold pair with 4mm Full Aurium bicones for a holiday version of the design. Stitch a pair for your Christmas gatherings or get a head start on handmade gifts!

Of course, you can also choose colors from your own bead stash. That’s part of the fun—seeing how the same design changes with a new combination!

What’s Included in the Bead Packs?

Each bead pack includes the three coordinated colors of 11/0 Delica beads, two 4mm bicones, two gold wire protectors, and the instant download pattern.

You’ll need to supply your own ear wires, beading thread, and beading needle. These are bead packs for making the earrings, rather than finished jewelry, and the included pattern is a digital download.

Come Bead With Me on Monday!

The Desert Rain Earrings tutorial premieres Monday, October 5th, on the Off the Beaded Path YouTube channel. You can follow along with the video and keep the written pattern nearby as you work.

I can’t wait to see which colorway catches your eye—or what beautiful combination you create yourself. Blue, rose, or Christmas… choosing might be the hardest part!

Happy Beading!
